Miami, FL- Friends of The Underline received a generous donation from the MIAMI Association of Realtors. The contribution supports The Underline’s mission to provide free creative, community-based programming and to help restore biodiversity and resiliency. With the $10,000 donated, The Underline is reintroducing native endangered orchids in the Brickell Backyard. It also supports programming for the Family Day at The Underline, Building Blocks series which began October 16th.

As the largest local realtor association in Florida, MIAMI Association of Realtors has a long history of investing in the community by improving residents’ quality of life. They are proud supporters of The Underline’s mission to connect people to their environment and each other to create a safe, healthy, equitable, and sustainable community.

“We are honored and proud to be a part of this exciting project. MIAMI Realtors, in partnership with the National Association of Realtors, has invested heavily in our communities and we see this as an investment in the future of Miami,” said Jennifer Wollmann, 2021 Chairman of the Board MIAMI Association of Realtors.

Working to bring free, interactive educational programming for all, Family Day at The Underline, Building Blocks will provide hands-on learning through play for kids. The event will take place every third Saturday of the month from 1-3 p.m. from October through July. The life sized Lego-esque toys sponsored by MIAMI Association of Realtors will enhance children’s math skills, fine motor skills, and problem-solving skills.

“The Underline is built on deep partnerships from both the public and private sector.
