About Us

Building a Healthier, More Connected Miami

At The Underline, we’re reimagining public space as a living, breathing civic platform—where culture, nature, and community move together.

Our mission

The Underline is Miami’s 10-mile, 120-acre park and cultural destination that turns space into possibility. We connect people and neighborhoods through trails, art, and experiences that celebrate business, entertainment, nature, culture, and health.

Every day, The Underline is where Miami moves. Where people walk, play, learn, and gather, creating a city that is more connected, vibrant, and full of opportunity.

What began as a bold vision by local advocate Meg Daly in 2014 has grown into a nationally recognized blueprint for reimagining public infrastructure. Inspired by Miami’s unmet need for walkable, inclusive space, The Underline has evolved through community input, public-private partnerships, and phased development—from the Brickell Backyard to a 10-mile civic corridor.

Team

Led by Visionaries.
Driven by Community.
