Design Trust for Public Space: NYC Transforms Underpasses Into Lively Public Space

Much like The Underline, NYC's Department of Transportation with the help of the Design Trust for Public Space is launching pilot programs to do just that. APPROVING THE UNDERLINE PROJECT AS PRESENTED, FULLY SUPPORTING ITS VISION AS PRESENTED, HOPING THAT THE PROJECT MOVES QUICKLY, AND THAT IT IS FUNDED BY THE AGENCIES WHICH ARE PART OF THIS PROCESS, AND REQUESTING THAT DURING THE APPROPRIATE TIME DURING EARLY DESIGN THE PROJECT BE BROUGHT BACK TO THE TARC TO ALLOW FOR THEIR INPUT AND COMMENT.
