Innovation Insider: The Underline is Miami's Future of Public Transportation

Jun 6, 2015
by The Underline
Introduction
By Hilary Saunders Citing Miami as the seventh most congested city in America and the 66th most jammed in the world, Innovation Insider's Hilary Saunders assesses Miami-Dade County's existing transportation system as "pretty bad" which may explain the road congestion. But despite of the city's bike lane infrastructure and the "insufferable" summer humidity, biking has grown in certain communities. Saunders argues that as the eighth largest metropolitan area in the US, South Florida desperately needs a "transportation innovation." Read more here about how The Underline will integrate all forms of transportation into a singular mobility corridor and be the catalyst for creating a connected, walkable/bikeable community.
