Friends of The Underline are proud to announce Lisle Bowen as the new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). With over 17 years of experience in brand strategy, experiential marketing, and creative leadership, Bowen joins The Underline team to support Founder and Chairwoman Meg Daly, CEO Eulois Cleckley, and President and COO Patrice Gillespie's vision and mission of positioning The Underline as Miami’s must-visit destination and a global model for urban transformation. Bowen has worked with top global brands, athletes, and entertainment figures, spearheading creative campaigns that connect culture with audience engagement.

Bowen has worked with top global brands, athletes, and entertainment figures, spearheading creative campaigns that connect culture with audience engagement. His background includes producing impactful brand narratives, securing multi-million-dollar partnerships, and designing immersive experiences that drive engagement and revenue growth.

“The Underline is more than just a public space, it’s a movement that is reshaping how people experience Miami,” said Bowen. “My goal is to use storytelling and elevated experiences to position The Underline as an iconic destination that the community feels proud to be a part of.”

Bowen has a demonstrated track record of driving brand growth and engagement through strategic marketing and storytelling. He launched Ones Basketball League (OBL) with NBA Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady, securing strategic partnerships withAdidas, Spalding, and Beats by Dre. His storytelling expertise was showcased in a Showtime docuseries that garnered millions of views, demonstrating his ability to craft narratives that captivate audiences. 

As a creative consultant with the Miami Heat, he spearheaded brand activations and marketing initiatives, including the development of a VIP fan experience program that drove additional revenue for all stakeholders. Additionally, he broadened Chevron’s audience through an Amazon Prime docuseries featuring Trey Smith, son of Will Smith, and acclaimed director Wes Armstrong — a project that surpassed one million views. His strategic marketing efforts also empowered Chevron’s sales team to achieve top-performing status nationwide.

As CMO, Bowen will develop new partnerships, create immersive visitor experiences, and implement digital-first marketing strategies to strengthen The Underline’s presence both locally and globally.
