I’m so excited to be a part of this dynamic organization and continue the work to achieve the vision and mission of The Underline

Our project is one of the most transformative urban redevelopment projects in the country, creating a destination for residents and visitors to experience business, entertainment, nature, culture, and health accessible by walking, biking and transit. The Underline is a vibrant, sustainable, and community-focused space that we all can enjoy.

What brought me to The Underline? I’m passionate about creating infrastructure that enhances mobility, fosters resiliency, and connectivity while improving our communities. I have a background in leading large initiatives and projects having served as Director and CEO of Miami-Dade’s Department of Transportation and Public Works, Executive Director of Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, and Deputy Director of the Houston-Galveston Area Council.

The Underline was one of the first destinations that caught my attention when I arrived here to the magic city, and seeing its growth and progress has been inspiring and energizing.

With the completion of Phase 3 by 2026; The Underline will stretch 10 miles, from Brickell to Dadeland and serve 14 neighborhoods, 112,400 residents within a 10-minute walk, provide access to public transportation to two Universities and 73 schools (Childcare/K-12), four hospitals, three urgent care facilities, four major malls, and nearly 20,000 businesses.

This project wouldn’t be possible without our incredible community. I’m excited to collaborate with organizations and individuals who share our commitment to sustainable urban development.

See you on The Underline!
