Community Connections: Speed Friending

Mar 21, 2024
6:30 pm | 8:30 pm

Little Haiti, a culturally rich, historic, and vibrant community here in Miami, will be honored at The Underline River Room on Thursday, March 21st, from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at Community Connections: Speed Friending Powered by DoorDash.

Come prepared to enjoy traditional compas, Haitian music, and staple flavorful bites from the Caribbean island and leave with a little token of history on how the community came to be. Enjoy food from local vendors: D&L Cuisine Delicious Caribbean, Potiwa Pizza, Charleston’s Island Delicacies, The Vegan Marie, and Salads by Molina. Plus, hear from local Little Haiti community member Sandy Dorsainvil who will give insight into this vibrant neighborhood.

Thanks to DoorDash we will be awarding gift cards to the first 20 attendees and have a raffle for another 10 gift cards during the event.

Indulge in the culture of Little Haiti brought to us by our partners, District 5 Commissioner Eileen Higgins and Sant La, Haitian Neighborhood Center. Strike up a conversation with someone new by participating in our fan favorite Speed Friending activity. Engage with new people for 3 minutes or less before moving on to the next person.
