Having trouble with your dog? Prepare yourself for pet ownership and bring your dog to a free outdoor training class. Join us Saturday, March 4th from 11 AM – 1 PM at The Underline Sound Stage Plaza sponsored by Florida Power & Light.  Applause Your Paws certified trainers will teach pets and pet owners basic leash and handling tips for you and your best friends.

Behavioral issues are one of the common reasons why pets are surrendered. Rescues and new pets can take a while to settle in and understanding how to improve their behavior can be a challenge for new pet owners.

PAWS (Promoting Animal Welfare Saturdays) is a programming series for pet lovers in partnership with Brickell Magazine, Friends of Miami Animals Foundation (FoMA), and Friends of The Underline (FUL). This year, PAWS will offer pet lovers a variety of services from free microchipping, vaccinations, dog training services, pet adoptions, spay and neutering services, farmer markets for pets and much more. Getting there:

•⁠ 🚆Take the Metrorail to Brickell Metrorail Station, exit north, and walk to Sound Stage, located right before the crossing to 8th street.

•⁠ 🚴‍♂️ Walk or bike (bike racks on The Underline as SW 1st Avenue and SW 1st Street) to Sound Stage, located right before the crossing to 8th street.

•⁠ 🚗 If you drive, please use nearby public parking lots at Brickell City Centre and Publix Mary Brickell Village.
