Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) is hosting a virtual public meeting regarding The Underline Phase 3. In partnership with the Friends of The Underline, DTPW will present the proposed overall scope and location of the project and gather feedback from attendees on priorities, opportunities, constraints and concerns that will inform future designs. Phase 3 extends from SW 19 Avenue south to Dadeland Boulevard, a length of approximately 7.36 miles. Sign up and register to learn about the future and design of Phase 3.

The Underline will be a 10-mile linear mobility corridor below the Metrorail and will transform 120 acres of County-owned land below the existing Metrorail from the Miami River (Downtown) to Dadeland South Metrorail Station into a world-class multimodal corridor. The project will provide separated pedestrian and bicycle paths, improvements to over 30 intersections, access to public transportation, public Wi-Fi, enhanced lighting, and wayfinding. This project follows the goals of the Board and the Citizens Independent Transportation Trust (CITT) Advisory Board in the Vision Zero initiative by significantly improving pedestrian and cyclist safety.
